Insight Global is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near Chattanooga, TN

Must Haves

  • Valid driver's license & clean motor vehicle record
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a relevant electrical field/ Journeyman experience

Day-to-Day

An employer in Franklin, TN is looking for a Low Voltage Technician. They will be responsible for installs, and repairs of the electrical systems that use low-voltage electricity, such as security alarms, fire alarms, garage door openers, and landline phones. A typical day for a low voltage technician may include: Reading blueprints and following building plans to install wiring and equipment. Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and devices. Repairing or replacing faulty components, such as switches, outlets, fuses, and circuit breakers. Working with other trade professionals, such as electricians, plumbers, and carpenters, to ensure a safe and productive job site. Keeping records of all work performed and reporting any issues or problems to supervisors or clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $43.00 per hour
